Application of segmented inlet multi-stage AO-MBR process in underground wastewater treatment plant
A underground WWTP with a design scale of 60 000 m3/d in northern China adopted the multi-stage A/O process and MBR process for inlet water, and the effluent quality met the re-quirements of standard B in the Discharge Standard of Water Pollutants for Urban Sewage Treat-ment Plants(DB 11/890-2012).The total investment of the project is 462.76 million yuan. The total cost of water treatment is 3.26 yuan/m3,of which the variable cost is 0.918 yuan/m3,and the fixed cost is 2.342 yuan/m3.Since commercial transport, the design process has been efficient and stable. The average discharge concentrations of COD,TN,NH4-N and TP in effluent are 13 mg/L,10.6 mg/L,0.24 mg/L and 0.2 mg/L,and the average removal rates are 93%,78.6%,99.5%and 96%,respectively.The high quality of the water plant ensures the supply of recycled water in the planned service area, effectively ensuring the sustainable use of recycled water resources in the area.
