Urban water distribution network is the core component of urban infrastructure,directly related to the life and health of urban residents and quality of life.Therefore,in order to cope with future climate change and urban development needs,the construction of a sustainable ur-ban water distribution network that is oriented towards future climate adaptation is not only an ur-gent need for current urban development,but also an important measure to ensure the safety of ur-ban residents'lives and enhance the competitiveness of cities.This paper discussed the challenges faced by water distribution pipeline networks in the context of global climate,analyzed the existing optimization and management means of water distribution pipeline networks,deduced the needs of urban water distribution pipeline networks in the context of global climate,and proposed targeted water distribution pipeline network optimization solutions in line with the dual-carbon context.
