Smart water is a deep integration application of new generation information technolo-gy and water business,and its high-quality development relies on standardization.The construction of standards in the field of smart water in China is accelerating,but the industry has not yet formed a standard system for top-level planning and guidance of standards.The standards in the field of smart water in China and abroad were reviewed and the current development status were analyzed.The framework of the smart water standard system was constructed by a systematic approach,and the key directions and management suggestions for the construction of smart water standards were proposed.The results can provide technical and management supports for the standardization work of smart water.
