碳中和背景下数据中心WUE限值的合理性分析

摘要
针对数据中心水资源利用效率(WUE)指标进行了深入调研分析,指出了传统WUE计算方法的局限性,提出了不同城市、采用不同水源的WUE限值修正方案.针对不同气候分区、不同典型冷却系统进行了经济性及碳排放分析,得出WUE与碳排放负相关的结论.分析了数据中心可用的节水技术,并提出了雨废水分质回用的技术方案.
Abstract
An in-depth research and analysis of water usage effectiveness(WUE)indicator for data center was carried out,introducing the limitations of traditional WUE calculation methods and proposing a modified WUE limit formula considering climates and water types.Based on climate and typical data center cooling systems,economic and carbon emission analyses were conducted,concluding a negative correlation between WUE value and carbon emissions of data centers.The a-vailable water-saving technologies for data centers are analysed,and a technical solution for rainwa-ter and wastewater reuse is proposed.
