Flood risk assessment of underground WWTP based on hydraulic model
Taking the underground waste water treatment plant(WWTP)located in the flood detention area as an example, based on Infoworks ICM,a one-dimensional hydraulic model of watershed and a two-di-mensional model of the flood detention area are constructed and coupled. The calibration and verification are carried out through measured rainstorm data and flood diversion process to ensure the reliability of the model. On this basis, the flood control risk of flood detention area and WWTP is analyzed. The results show that under the current flood control standard, there is a flood risk in the plant area.Rainfall, controlled discharge, river structures and roughness in flood detention area will affect water level changes to varying degrees,provi-ding scientific and technical support for the subsequent operation and emergency management of flood deten-tion area and the WWTP.
