Comparative analysis and optimization of coupled storage tank in wastewater treatment plants
Storage tanks played an important role in controlling overflow pollution and runoff pollution,and it effectively reduced pollutants discharged into rivers.The design of coupled storage tanks with wastewater treatment plants has advantages such as rapid dispatch,synergistic effects,land conservation,and energy saving,effectively achieving plant-tank coordination.Taking the en-gineering of two coupled storage tanks in Shenzhen's wastewater treatment plants as examples,the comparative analysis was conducted from the perspectives of functional positioning,interception standards,storage capacity,and linkage control strategies with the wastewater treatment plants,aiming to explore potential areas for improvement and optimization.Incorporating the requirements for improving the quality and efficiency of drainage systems and high-quality water management de-velopment,this paper proposed optimization strategies focusing on storage tanks in the drainage system,including real-time control,balancing quantity and quality,intelligent operation,and rain-water utilization,with the goal of enhancing the resilience and safety of urban drainage systems.
