Effect of sintering temperature on microstructure and high temperature tensile properties of Ti2AlNb alloy
Ti2AlNb alloy was prepared using spark plasma sintering(SPS)technology, the effect of sintering temperature on microstructure and mechanical properties of the Ti2AlNb alloy was studied, and its tensile properties and hardness were tested using an electronic universal testing machine and a Vickers hardness tester. The results show that when the sintering temperature is 1000 ℃,the Ti2AlNb alloy has the best high-temperature tensile performance and the highest hardness due to the precipitation of the most O phase. As the sintering temperature increases, the precipitation amount of the O phase decreases, and the high-temperature tensile performance and hardness decrease.Heat treatment of the Ti2AlNb alloy prepared by sintering at 1200 ℃ with different processes was carried out. After heat treatment, the microstructure of the Ti2AlNb alloy changes from equiaxed structure to Weinstein structure, and the Ti2AlNb alloy cooled by furnace cooling has the most obvious refinement of microstructure, the most precipitated O phase, and the highest hardness.
