Performance research of the adhesive-aided ring spun yarn based on the sodium polyacrylate solution
In order to reduce the hairiness of adhesive-aided ring spun yarn significantly,the adhesive-aided ring spinning is used to produce yarn in this article.The interaction between specific solution and fiber is used to strengthen the fiber control,so that the hairiness is closely contacted to the yarn surface,then the hairiness is involved into the interior of the fiber strand during the twisting process,and the harmful hairiness is effectively reduced.Therefore,sodium polyacrylate(PAAS)with similar polarity to cellulose was selected to prepare different concentrations of solutions,and the properties of the solution and the structure and properties of the spun yarns were tested.The results shows that the surface tension of the solution increases gradually and approaches the surface tension of water with the increase of PAAS concentration,and the viscosity of PAAS solution and the roving adhesion also increase.The surface of the adhesive-aided ring spun yarn is more compact and smooth.The yarn hairiness is greatly reduced and the hairiness reduction rate of bobbin yarn is more than 60%,and the similar hairiness reduction rate of cone yarn is still maintained after winding.The yarn strength and resistance performance of adhesives-aided ring spun yarns are also improved.Therefore,the adhesive-aided ring spinning can effectively reduce yarn hairiness,improve yarn strength and resistance performance,and improve yarn quality comprehensively.
