Xuan Ji in the Silk-An Analysis of the Current Status of Collection and Restoration of Silk Embroidery Pieces
TSilk embroidery is one of the representatives of traditional Chinese culture and craftsmanship,playing a crucial role in cultural heritage.These intricately crafted pieces carry rich historical information and cultural value,forming an integral part of Chinese tradition.With their delicate workmanship and diverse patterns,embroidered pieces hold profound cultural significance and are highly enjoyable to behold.Due to the time-consuming and delicate process of creating these pieces,well-preserved and scarce embroidered artifacts hold significant collectible value.This study primarily employs methods from literature,image analysis,and folk surveys to explore the historical allusions,folk stories,and interplay of traditional cultural inheritance reflected in silk embroidery pieces.It also provides a multifaceted analysis of the current state of folk embroidery collection and delves into the challenges and methods of maintaining and restoring these precious artifacts.
