Under the background of new engineering,traditional practical teaching model cannot meet the needs of modern textile industry for talent training quality.This paper took the practical teaching of functional textile testing,a major course of textile engineering in Changshu Institute of Technology,as the reform research object,and put forward the main measures,innovative significance and application status of the practical teaching reform of this course,thus to promote the optimization and innovation of the practical course of textile testing and improve the quality of professional personnel training.
