Ventilation requirements for negative pressure isolation wards in infectious disease hospitals
Based on the design of an infectious disease hospital in Tianjin, this study provides reasona-ble airflow organization design guidance and operation guidance for the negative pressure isolation wards in the hospital buildings through computational fluid dynamics(CFD)numerical simulation. In this study,a theoretical analysis was carried out on the demand for the air change numbers provided in different standards of the negative pressure isolation ward. This study compares the pollutant dis-charge time and carries out the energy consumption analysis. Finally, this study gives reasonable ven-tilation frequency of the negative pressure isolation ward during the outbreak of infectious period, and provides guidance for its air conditioning operation.
