Analysis of Influencing Factors on Hospitalization Expenses of Lung Cancer Patients in a Certain Grade A Tertiary Hospital in Shandong Province
Objective:To analyze the composition of hospitalization expenses of lung cancer patients from 2018 to 2022 in a certain grade A tertiary hospital in Shandong Province,and to explore the influencing factors of hospitalization expenses of lung cancer pa-tients,so as to provide theoretical basis for promoting DRGs paid medical work.Methods:Data on lung cancer patients admitted to a grade A tertiary hospital thoracic surgery department in Shandong from 2018 to 2022 were collected,single factor and multiple linear regression were used to analyze the factors influencing the hospitalization expenses of lung cancer patients.Results:From 2018 to 2022,The average hospitalization expenses of lung cancer patients showed an increasing trend.The cost of medicine,examination,ex-amination,treatment and material is much higher than that of other kinds of items.The total contribution rate of the five items is 84.88％,It is the main component of the total cost of hospitalization.The factors influencing the hospitalization expenses of patients with lung cancer included age,occupation,mode of payment,pathological type,metastasis,tumor stage,treatment mode and length of stay,the length of stay is the most important factor affecting the cost of hospitalization.Conclusion:It is an effective way to reduce the hospitalization expenses by controlling the drug expenses,material expenses and shortening the hospitalization days of lung cancer pa-tients,It is necessary to strengthen the supervision of drugs and consumables in the process of production,circulation and use,so as to reduce the drug and consumables cost during hospitalization.Pay attention to and actively carry out early screening work,actively pro-mote the reform of payment,so as to reduce medical costs,improve the efficiency of medical services.
