Study on the Cleaning Effect of Stomatology Medical Instruments by Implementing Stan-dardized Reusable Instrument Pretreatment Process
Objective:To develop and implement the standardized pretreatment process of dental reuse,reduce the risk of sharp in-jury,improve the cleaning effect,and ensure the quality of disinfection and sterilization.Methods:In April 2023,108 pieces of reuse devices used in the diagnosis and treatment department of stomatology of a certain grade A tertiary hospital were sent to the disinfection supply center,randomly divided into conventional manual cleaning group,conventional automatic cleaning unit and combined automat-ic cleaning unit according to the standardized pretreatment process,with 36 pieces for each group.Washing effect was detected by ATP biofluorescence.Results:The qualified rate of ATP biofluocence detection manual cleaning group,automatic cleaning unit,standard-ized pretreatment process and automatic cleaning unit are respectively 83.3%(30/36),61.1%(22/36),100%(36/36).The RLU val-ues in the three groups were 7.22±21.32,37.61±94.06,and 0±0,respectively.The cleaning qualified rate of the automatic cleaning unit is significantly higher than that of the conventional manual cleaning group and the automatic cleaning unit,(x2:18.732 P<0.01),with statistical significance.Conclusion:The automatic cleaning machine after the standardized pretreatment process can improve the cleaning effect and provide a basis for the standardized pretreatment process of medical reuse devices in the hospital.
