Application of Improved Strategies Based on PDCA in Temperature Management of Pa-tients Undergoing Colorectal Cancer Surgery
Objective:To explore and analyze the application of improved strategy based on plan-execution-check-treatment(PD-CA)in temperature management of patients undergoing colorectal cancer surgery. Methods:A total of 60 patients undergoing laparo-scopic colorectal cancer surgery in our hospital from February 2020 to February 2023 were selected, and the included subjects were di-vided into control group(given routine hypothermia nursing intervention measures)and improvement group(given PDCA-based im-provement intervention on the basis of control group)according to the admission time, with 30 patients in each group. The surgical data of the two groups were compared, and the temperature changes, postoperative complications and nursing satisfaction of the two groups in different time periods were compared. Results:The hospitalization time, rewarming time and chills duration in the improved group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The temperature in the improved group at 60 min(T2),90 min(T3)and after surgery(T4)was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the improved group was lower than that in the control group, the total nursing satisfaction of the improved group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Under laparoscopy,PDCA continuous enhancement strategy can significantly reduce the patient's body tempera-ture,reduce intraoperative complications such as chills, and improve the patient's nursing satisfaction, which has great clinical applica-tion value.
