Objective:Through in-depth research on the occurrence of medical quality and safety(adverse)events in medical insti-tutions,to enhance the level of medical safety management in hospitals.Methods:The research method of retrospective analysis was se-lected to analyze the level,number,and cause category of 401 adverse events reported by a certain grade A tertiary specialized hospital in Tianjin through the OA system from 2021 to 2023.Results:From 2021 to 2023,the number of adverse events reported showed an in-creasing trend year by year,and the adverse events were mainly concentrated in gradeⅢandⅣadverse events,and the number of ad-verse events reported in device management was the largest,accounting for 35.16%.Conclusion:Continuously improve the manage-ment system of medical quality and safety(adverse)events,establish a non-punitive incentive reporting mechanism,strengthen the quality and safety education and training of medical staff,and improve the efficiency of adverse event reporting with the help of informa-tion technology to ensure the safety of patients.
