Analysis of the Application Effect of Driving License Scoring Management in Healthcare-associated Infection Management
Objective:This study aimed to analyze the application effect of driving license scoring management in healthcare-associ-ated infection(HAI)management.Methods:A certain grade A tertiary general hospital in Jiangsu Province began to implement driving license scoring management in May 2023.Cross-sectional study was used in the study and implementation of HAI prevention and con-trol measures was analyzed before and after the driving license scoring management.Results:After the implementation of the driving li-cense scoring management,the bad practice behavior of medical staff related to the scoring assessment was significantly improved,and the number of medical staff scored and the total score showed a down-ward trend.The rate of etiology testing before antimicrobial treat-ment in this hospital increased from 38.04% to 52.97% (P＜0.001).Rate of promptly dealing with warning information in HAI surveil-lance system increased from 80.59% to 97.03(P＜0.001).Qualified rate of environmental hygienic monitoring increased from 98.43% to 99.62% (P=0.01).Qualified rate of medical waste disposal increased from 89.39% to 96.62% (P=0.03).The implementation rate of MDRO prevention and control measures increased from 72.92% to 83.02% (P＜0.001).Conclusion:The driving license scoring man-agement raised the awareness of HAI prevention and control among medical staff and effectively improved the level of prevention and control of HAI of the hospital,which is worthy of widespread application.
