Application of Innovative Management Model in Quality Control Center in Improving the Nutritional Assessment Rate in Hospitalized Patients
Objective:To explore the application of innovative management model in clinical nutrition quality control center in im-proving the nutritional assessment rate of tertiary medical institutions in Xiamen.Method:On the basis of quality control management in 2022,implementing an innovative management model in 2023,the Xiamen Clinical Nutrition Quality Control Center has developed innovative management model such as grading goals for nutritional assessment rates,implementing the PDCA continuous improvement plan,implementing a special action plan to improve the nutritional assessment rate of hospitalized patients,and implementing a two-way assessment system.The nutritional assessment rates before and after implementing the innovative management model were com-pared.Results:After implementing the innovative management model in the quality control center,the nutritional assessment rate in-creased from 0.97%in 2022 to 2.64%in 2023,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.01);Meanwhile,the average nutrition assessment rate from January to May in 2023 was 2.38%,which increased to 2.93%from June to December,with a statistically signifi-cant difference(P<0.01).Conclusion:The innovative management model of the quality control center can effectively improve the nu-tritional assessment rate.The quality control center should strengthen the supervision and assessment of quality control member units based on quality and safety improvement goals and quality control indicators,and promote the standardization of nutrition diagnosis and treatment processes in various medical institutions.
