Chinese response to antimicrobial resistance:a One Health perspective
This article analyzes the harmfulness and mechanisms of bacterial antimicrobial resistance(AMR),describes the na-tional supervision of AMR in China from a One Health perspective, summarizes laws, policies and regulations pertaining to AMR and bacterial AMR surveillance networks in clinical, animal and public health interfaces in China, and analyzes the problems in the surveil-lance system, including lack of data sharing mechanisms, incomplete surveillance targets and contents and low standardization level,so as to provide insights into integrating current AMR surveillance systems, breaking the surveillance dilemma of fragmentation, localization and non-standardization,and establishing the novel multi-domain,full-chain and data-sharing AMR surveillance model.
