System dynamics modeling and simulation of collaborative innovation for supply chain disruptions
Affected by international conflicts, trade environment, climate, major epidemics, and other factors, supply chain disrup-tions occur frequently.Aiming at supply chain capacity and transportation disruption, collaborative innovation is introduced, and a three-level supply chain system dynamics model consisting of supplier, manufacturer, and retailer is constructed to explore the im-pact of collaborative innovation on the overall profit trend, average service level, and bullwhip effect of the supply chain under supply chain disruptions. The simulation results show that collaborative innovation can effectively improve and enhance the resili-ence of the supply chain.Different agents will produce different effects for collaboration, but under different disruption scenarios,it is more effective to have the suppliers leading the innovation activities and the retailers sharing the innovation costs.
