Experimental study on the reflective glare of cab indicators and buttons of railway rolling stock
The reflective glare from the indicators and buttons in the cab of railway rolling stock can easily lead to the driver's visual discomfort and reduced target observation ability;therefore,a reasonable design of the light environment in the cab is of great significance to ensure the safety of the train operation.Based on the cab light environment design of an export shunting loco-motive,establishes the test method and evaluation criteria for the reflection glare of cab indicators and buttons,verifies the ration-ality of cab light environment design through tests,and puts forward optimization suggestions for cab light environment design ac-cording to the test results.Ensure that the reflection glare of indicators and buttons does not affect the driver's timely and accu-rate visual information,effectively improve the driver's comfort,ensure visual health,and reduce the risk of train operation.
