Hood-based crash survivor space analysis of the driver's compartment of a metro vehicle
Based on EN 15227:2020"Railway applications-crash resistance requirements for railway vehicles",taking a certain A-type subway project as an example, different from previous subway vehicle collision safety analysis methods, this calculation adds finite element modeling of components such as the driver's cab hood and front window glass to simulate the damage and de-formation of the above components during train collisions,in order to more realistically analyze whether the driver's cab living space meets the standard requirements.
