Multi-story building fire emergency system based on digital twin
Intelligent fire-fighting technology is essential to ensure the safety of high-rise buildings. This paper presents a new fire emergency system for multi-story buildings. It uses digital twin modules to obtain geometric dimensions and location informa-tion of buildings. In addition, the system can also monitor indoor smoke concentration and temperature. If a fire breaks out,the system can immediately report to the fire department, and the escape time and path can be dynamically adjusted according to the situation. This study has demonstrated that Revit,PyroSim,and Pathfinder software can be employed to simulate fire in multi-story buildings, with smoke concentration and diffusion rate being simulated and analyzed to rationalize the escape route of personnel. The results demonstrate that this research can not only enhance the efficacy of firefighting in multi-story structures but also ensure that firefighters can formulate effective firefighting plans according to the information provided by the system before arriving at the fire site,to predict possible situations more accurately,to protect people's life and property safety.
