The development of technology transfer in American universities and its inspiration for China
The essence of technology transfer is the process of absorbing and mastering technological assets from external organi-zations or individuals,as well as spreading technological assets to external organizations or individuals and generating economic benefits.This article comprehensively introduces the technology transfer system of American universities and takes Stanford Uni-versity as a typical case to deeply explore and study the innovative advantages and core values of the Office of Technology Licen-sing(OTL)model.By analyzing the current situation of technology transfer in Chinese universities,and combining it with the in-spiration of the OTL model,hoping to provide a reference for the design of technology transfer paths and mode selection in Chi-nese universities.
