Analysis of 5 Cases of Direct Oral Anticoagulants in the Treatment of Left Atrial Appendage Thrombosis in Patients with Nonvalvular Atrial Fibrilla-tion
Clinical pharmacists participated in the management of anticoagulant therapy for 5 patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation combined with left atrial appendage thrombus. The safety and efficacy of drugs were evaluated by clinical manifestations and esophageal echocardiography. The efficacy and differ-ence of rivaroxaban and edoxaban in assisting fibrinolytic system to dissolve left atrial appendage thrombus were analyzed. The results showed that both drugs could promote the thrombus resolution to varying de-grees,and the time of thrombus resolution may be related to the thrombus area and the heart function of patients. After operation, clinical pharmacists formulated safe, effective and individualized anticoagulation regimens for patients according to their renal function and combined medications.
