Experience of Establishment and Application of a Pre-audit Prescription System in the Nanjing Stomatological Hospital
A pre-audit prescription system in Nanjing Stomatological Hospital was established.A total of 404037 prescriptions from July 2022 to June 2023 in this hospital were collected as research objects and statistically analyzed.The system pre-audited irrational rate was 3.68%(14872/404037),the physician initi-ated modification rate was 40.10%(5976/14872),the rate of pharmacist intervention was 4.31%(349/8090),the rate of successful intervention was 98.57%(344/349),the system rigid interception rate was 1.06%(4278/404037),the rational rate was 98.85%(399410/404037).The major irrational causes were repeated medica-tion,indications inappropriate or no indications,inappropriate medication selection,etc.The irrational pre-scriptions were gradually decreased during the application of the pre-audit prescription system.
