Comparison of the Effects of Remimazolam Tosilate or Propofol Combined with Esketamine in Pediatric Anesthesia
Objective:To compare the effects of remimazolam tosilate combined with esketamine and propofol combined with esketamine in pediatric anesthesia. Methods:A total of 60 children, aged 2-8 years old,BMI 15-20 kg·m-2,ASA 1-2 and undergoing elective abdominal endoscopic surgery from March to June 2022,were randomly divided into group P and group RP,with 30 cases in each group:Group P was given propofol combined with esketamine anesthesia, and group RP was given remimazolam tosilate combined with esketamine anesthesia. The general data, mean arterial pressure(MAP),heart rate(HR)and pulse oxygen saturation(SpO2)at induction(T0),intubation(T1),after the operation(T2)and extubation in the post-anaesthesia care unit(PACU)(T3),the anesthesia induction time and recovery time,Ramsay seda-tion score, pediatric anesthesia emergence delirium(PEAD)score, incidence of agitation and adverse reac-tions such as nausea and vomiting were compared between the two groups. Results:There were no signifi-cant difference in general data,MAP,HR and SpO2 at T0,T1,T2 and T3,the anesthesia induction time, recovery time and Ramsay sedation score between the two groups(P>0.05).Compared with group P,PAED score and incidence of agitation were decreased in group RP(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Remimazolam tosilate combined with esketamine anesthesia can improve the anesthesia effects and reduce the incidence of agita-tion in children after esketamine anesthesia.
