Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics and influencing factors in the patients with herpes zoster(HZ)complicated with malignant tumors. Methods A total of 68 HZ patients were divided into two groups. The patients in group A(33 cases)were complicated with malignant tumors and those in group B(35 cases)were not complicated with malignant tumors. The clinical data and laboratory test indexes were collected and the risk factors for HZ patients to complicate malignant tumors were analyzed. Results Compared to group B,group A was older in onset age and had higher D-dimer,serum creatinine and proportions of decreased CD3+T lymphocytes and CD8+T lymphocytes(P<0.05).In group A,the onset time of HZ was later than that of malignant tumors in 28 cases(84.85%),the onset time was earlier than that of malignant tumors in 5 cases(15.15%),and the interval between the two diseases was less than 6 months in 9 cases(27.27%).The patients in group A were complicated with 8 kinds of malignant tumors, among which the proportion of hematological tumors was the highest(33.33%).The decrease of CD3+T lymphocytes was the independent risk factor for HZ patients complicated with malignant tumors(P<0.05).Conclusion The HZ patients complicated with malignant tumors have older onset age and higher proportion of hematological tumors. The decrease of CD3+T lymphocytes is an independent risk factor for HZ patients to complicate malignant tumors.
