Analysis of biochemical indexes and serum metabolites in second trimester of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To analyze the change of biochemical indexes and serum metabolites in second trimester of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods A total of 272 pregnant women with card construction at 24-28 weeks of pregnancy were divided into GDM group(with GDM,152 cases)and control group(without GDM,120 cases)according to oral glucose tolerance test. The general data, biochemical indexes and serum metabolites levels were compared between the two groups. The correlation of alanine and arginine with biochemical indexes was analyzed. Results The age was older, and systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, fasting blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, total bile acid, alanine and arginine were higher in GDM group than those in control group(P<0.05).Alanine and arginine were positively correlated with fasting blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin and triacylglycerol in GDM group(P<0.05).Conclusion The biochemical indexes and serum metabolites are abnormal during second trimester of pregnant women with GDM.Alanine and arginine are closely related to fasting blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin and triacylglycerol.
