Analysis of risk factors for peritubular leakage in patients with urgent-start peritoneal dialysis
Objective To analyze the risk factors for peritubular leakage in the patients with urgent-start peritoneal dialysis. Methods A total of 122 patients underwent urgent-start peritoneal dialysis after peritoneal dialysis catheter implantation.According to whether peritubular leakage occurred within 30 days after catheterization, the patients were divided into two groups of A(with peritubular leakage,31 cases)and B(without peritubular leakage,91 cases). The clinical data of the two groups were compared and the risk factors for peritubular leakage in the patients with urgent-start peritoneal dialysis were analyzed. Results Compared with group B,group A had lower Plt and eosinophil count, and higher proportions of hypoalbuminemia and dialysis initiation time ≤72 hours(P<0.05).Hypoalbuminemia and dialysis initiation time≤72 hours were the independent risk factors for the occurrence of peritubular leakage in the patients with urgent-start peritoneal dialysis, while higher Plt was the independent protective factor(P<0.05).Conclusion Hypoalbuminemia and dialysis initiation time ≤72 hours are the independent risk factors for the occurrence of peritubular leakage in the patients with urgent-start peritoneal dialysis, while higher Plt is an independent protective factor.
