Clinical analysis of requiring exchange blood therapy of the neonates with hyperbilirubinemia
Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics of requiring exchange blood therapy in the neonates with hyperbilirubinemia. Methods The data of 163 neonates(gestational age≥35 weeks and birth age≤28 days)with hyperbilirubinemia were analyzed.According to the standard of phototherapy or exchange blood therapy,50 cases were treated with exchange blood therapy in group A,and 113 cases were treated with phototherapy in group B.The clinical and laboratory blood indicators of the two groups were compared to analyze clinical characteristics of requiring exchange blood therapy in the neonates with hyperbilirubinemia. Results Compared with group B,group A had longer gestational age, shorter admission time and higher proportion of combined with ABO hemolysis(P<0.05),as well as lower WBC,but higher Hb and hematocrit(Hct)(P<0.01).Conclusion Older gestational age, shorter admission time, combined with ABO hemolysis and higher Hct were the clinical characteristics of requiring exchange blood therapy in the neonates with hyperbilirubinemia.
