Effect of Baoyuan decoction and Taohong Siwu decoction treatment on left ventricular hemodynamics in patients with acute STEMI at type of qi deficiency and blood stasis after PCI
Objective To investigate the effect of Baoyuan decoction and Taohong Siwu decoction treatment on the left ventricular hemodynamics in the patients with acute ST elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)at type of qi deficiency and blood stasis after PCI.Methods Sixty patients with acute STEMI at type of qi deficiency and blood stasis after PCI were randomly divided into two groups with 30 cases each.Observation group was treated with a combination of Baoyuan decoction and Taohong Siwu decoction for one week on the basis of standardized conventional drug treatment.Control group was only given standardized conventional drug treatment for one week.The left ventricular hemodynamic indicators were detected by echocardiography in both groups before and after treatment.Results Compared to before and control group after treatment,the left ventricular ejection fraction,fractional shortening,stroke volume,aortic velocity,mitral peak flow velocity(E)and mitral ring velocity(e')were increased,while E/e'ratio was decreased in observation group after treatment(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).Conclusion A combination of Baoyuan decoction and Taohong Siwu decoction can improve the left ventricular hemodynamics in the patients with acute STEMI at type of qi deficiency and blood stasis after PCI.
