Calculation and analysis of contact angle between wires in wire rope
The contact state of steel wire inside wire rope directly affects service life of wire rope.By calculating the contact angle between each layer of steel wire in point contact wire rope strand,the contact angle between wire core wire rope strand and metal core steel wire in line contact,contact angle between outer strand wire and inner strand wire of multi-layer strand wire rope,change of contact angle under different lay pitch lay direction is calculated and analyzed to guide technological design of wire rope.
