Research on wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant coating on high manganese steel surface
To study influence of different chemical plating processes on microstructure and properties of high manganese steel coating.The optimal parameters for electroless Ni-P plating are:NiSO4·6H2O mass concentration 30 g/L,NaH2PO2·H2O mass concentration 35 g/L,pH value 4.7,Amorphous Ni-P coating is dense and has thickness of approximately 25 μm.Coating hardness has been increased from 330 HV to 600 HV,resulting in decrease in wear volume,Corrosion current density of coating decreased from 8.51 mA/cm2 to 1.82 mA/cm2.Coating significantly improves surface hardness,wear resistance,and corrosion resistance of high manganese steel substrate.
