Analysis on low fatigue life fracture causes of cylindrical spiral spring
During fatigue test,cylindrical spiral spring failed under conditions far below design requirements.Cause of cylindrical spiral spring abnormal fracture is analyzed,results show that failure of spring is fatigue fracture,no abnormal is found in all inspections.The occurrence of abnormal fracture in test sample may be related to dispersion of fatigue data.Furthermore,numerical simulation results show that offset loading and spring length error has significant impact on fatigue life.
