To introduce development history,types,uses,and three commonly used types of branch outlets,and compare welding differences between new and old standards GB/T 19326-2022 and GB/T 19326-2012.Key points to introduce welding process precautions for branch outlets and their applications in nuclear power,petrochemical,and natural gas in-dustries.Practice has proven that gap between branch outlet and pipeline assembly,as well as appropriate welding process parameters,are important parameters for ensuring bottom welding of branch outlet.Endoscopic inspection of formation at the root of branch outlet is an important means of quality control inspection for branch outlet welding,and non-destructive testing of weld seam of branch outlet after welding is an important method.
