Biosorption, the New Process to Remove Heavy Metal from Wastewater
The biosorption mechanism of heavy metal removal by biological absorbents, as welI as the effect of immobilized cell technique, is described. Biological absorbents feature wide range of sources, low cost, high absorptive capacity, and easy to separate and recover of absorbed heavy metals. Bioabsorption process has a good prospect in industrial application.
