Pulp transportation requires special conideration,such as way of package stacking,lifting process,environmental temperature and humidity,and packing density,etc.Taking a certain type of multi-purpose pulp carrier as an example,this paper elaborates on the selection of cargo hatch cover type and the special requirements for hoisting.It points out the necessity,safety,and application characteristics of the piggyback hatch cover,pulp specific loading equipment,and large open cargo hold design.Key things concerning outfitting design are discussed from the angle of better meeting the requirements of pulp trans-portation.
