To investigate and locate the leakage of a marine lubricating oil cooler,comprehensive analysis is conducted in chemi-cal composition of equipment materials,metallographic structure of welds,scanning electron microscopy of corrosion morphol-ogy,and energy spectrum of corrosion products.The microstructure and chemical composition distribution around the corro-sion area are obtained.The causes and mechanism of the corrosion are studied to avoid similar corrosion leaks.
