Crises and Responses:A Study of International Education Policies in the USA,England,Australia, and Canada
Geopolitical crises, economic crises, and human capital reproduction crises have become the main so-cial driving forces affecting international education policies. The Western international education powers repre-sented by the United States,Britain,Australia, and Canada respond to various social crises by issuing or updat-ing international education policies,in order to maintain the existing discourse power and vested interests in the field of international education. In response to various crises, the international education policies of Western countries have all implemented the same logic by taking neoliberalism as the theoretical logic, neocolonialism as the historical logic, and nationalism as the practical logic. In the future, the role of the government in interna-tional education decision-making in Western countries will become more apparent;the value orientation of poli-cies will be more diverse;the practicality of policies will also be more distinct.
