The Driving Effect of Industry-Research Cooperation Funding on the Appli-cation of University Research Results in the Context of Organized Scientific Research
Organized scientific research is expected to build a collaborative innovation system between uni-versities and industries in order to strengthen the responsiveness of research results to the real needs of indus-tries.In this context, the allocation scale and allocation structure of industry-research cooperation funds are of great significance to research collaboration and the application and transformation of scientific and technologi-cal achievements of universities. This study empirically examines the driving effect of industry-research cooper-ation funding on the application of university research outputs. The results show that there is a linear positive correlation between the scale of industry-research cooperation funding and the application of university re-search output. The proportion of the funding for industry-research cooperation,on the other hand, shows an in-verted U-shaped effect.Meanwhile, the driving effect of industry-research cooperation funding on research out-put application has some inter-regional heterogeneity and significant top-level mutual promotion characteris-tics.
