高等教育研究国际发文的数量与影响力,是衡量与研判高等教育国际话语权的重要参照.借助Web of Science数据库平台和科学知识图谱分析软件CiteSpace,对2000-2022年间15种高等教育类期刊论文的时空分布特征、研究热点演变情况进行可视化呈现,研究结果表明:高等教育研究国际发文由中心-边缘格局转向多元主体并存格局,不同主体的高等教育研究国际发文表现出极强的不平衡性;中国高等教育研究国际发文在世界高等教育体系中的地位不断增强,但影响力在短期内依然较弱;中国高等教育研究国际发文的主力是中国香港地区尤其是香港大学和在中国工作的外籍学者,而中国大陆地区仍处于边缘地位;高等教育研究国际发文的研究热点呈现出静态稳定性,且深度和持续性不断增强;中国高等教育研究国际发文的研究热点呈现出动态变化性,且具有较强的时效性和滞后性,尚未形成引领力.争取中国高等教育国际话语权需要强调论文质量与数量的统一;需要坚持战略定力,重视战略规划;需要建设有影响力的国际期刊;需要加快构建具有标识性、辨识度和显示度的中国高等教育话语体系.
Temporal and Spatial Patterns of International Publications in Higher Educa-tion Research and China's Orientation
The number and influence of international publications in higher education research are impor-tant references.for measuring and judging the international discourse of higher education.The study visualizes the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics,research hotspot evolution of papers published in 15 higher education journals during 2000-2022 with the help of Web of Science database platform and scientific knowl-edge mapping analysis software CiteSpace.The results of the study showed that the international publication of higher education research has shifted from a center-marginal pattern to a pattern of coexistence of multiple sub-jects,and the international publication of higher education research by different subjects shows a strong imbal-ance;China's international postings in higher education research are gaining ground in the world higher educa-tion system;however,their influence still remains weak in the short term;international publications in Chinese higher education research are dominated by Hong Kong,China,especially by Hong Kong universities and expa-triate scholars working in China,while mainland China remains marginal;Research hotspots of international publications in higher education research show static stability with increasing depth and continuity;the re-search hotspots of international publications in Chinese higher education research show dynamic changes,and have strong timeliness and lag,and have not yet formed a leading force.Thus,striving for the international dis-course of Chinese higher education requires emphasizing the unity of quality and quantity of papers,insisting on strategic determination and doing strategic planning,vigorously building influential international journals,and accelerating the construction of a Chinese higher education discourse system with identity,recognition and dis-play.
