Summary of best evidence for early ambulation after total knee arthroplasty
Objective:To systematically retrieve and summarize the best evidence for early ambulation after total knee arthroplasty,so as to provide theoretical guidance for the clinical implementation of early get-out activities. Methods:According to the"6S"pyramid model, relevant articles on early get-out activities after total knee arthroplasty were systematically searched from the guide websites,Chinese and foreign databases, and the websites of professional associations such as hip and knee surgery from top to bottom. Two researchers independently conducted quality evaluation and summarized relevant evidence. Results:A total of 13 papers were included, including 3 guidelines,2 systematic reviews,6 expert consensus articles and 2 randomized controlled trials(RCTS).26 evidence items were summarized from 4 aspects:health education,pre-activity assessment and guidance, implementation of out-of-bed activities, and safety assurance of out-of-bed activities. Conclusions:This study summarized the best evidence of early ambulation after total knee arthroplasty.Clinical staff should combine the best evidence in line with clinical scenarios with patient preferences and corresponding medical conditions to develop targeted intervention strategies to improve patient prognosis.
