The willingness and influencing factors of public participation in urban transportation co-construction and co-governance
Public participation in urban traffic co-construction and co-governance is an exploratory scheme to alleviate urban traffic congestion. From the perspective of the public, this paper studies their willingness to participate in urban traffic co-construction and co-governance.Based on the extended theory of planned behaviour, this paper constructed a theoretical model of influencing factors of public participation willingness, and used the structural equation model to conduct empirical tests. The research showed that public participation awareness, attitude and perceived public effectiveness had a very significant positive impact on participation willingness, with path coefficients of 0.438,0.265 and 0.250 respectively.Subjective norms and personal moral obligations had a generally significant positive impact on participation willingness, with path coefficients of 0.082 and 0.141 respectively.Perceived cost had a very significant negative impact on participation willingness, with path coefficient of-0.319.Based on the empirical results, this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the effectiveness of publicity and promote public participation in urban traffic co-construction and co-governance by combining schools, society and other platforms,so as to provide reference for the government to formulate policies.
