Preparation and Properties of Photothermal Superhydrophobic Surfaces Based on Candle Soot
A low-cost,high-efficiency candle soot/epoxy resin(CS/ER)coating was synthesized using epoxy resin(ER)as the adhesive and diethylenetriamine(DETA)as the curing agent. The resulting coating exhibits excellent superhydrophobic properties(average WCA of 153.7±0.8°,SA less than 1°)and self-cleaning capabilities.Under xenon lamp irradiation, the coating surface temperature can reach 108.2 ℃,demonstrating a remarkable photothermal effect. This photothermally responsive superhydrophobic surface holds promising applications in areas such as anti-icing,self-cleaning,and corrosion resistance.
