Study on the Performance of Different Material Release Cloths for Wind Turbine Blades
This article analyzes the differences in mechanical properties, oil content, and interface properties of peel ply made from polyester(PET),PA6,and PA66 fabrics used in wind turbine blades.Scanning electron microscopy was employed to observe the interface morphology of the fiber-reinforced plastic surface. The results indicate that, compared to PET material peel ply,PA66 material peel ply exhibits superior mechanical properties and lower oil content. The tensile strength and tear strength of the PA66 material are improved by 8%and 30%,respectively.There is no significant difference in the interface performance among the different material peel plies, which can meet the trial requirements of the wind power industry.Among the three materials,PA66 demonstrates the best overall performance.
