Landside Transportation Planning of Fuzhou Changle International Airport
Hub airports are the gateway for urban external transportation and an important carrier for improving regional competitiveness. With the rapid growth of civil aviation business, the existing hub airport facilities can no longer meet the demand for passenger flow.In this context,a new round of airport construction and expansion projects is being carried out in full swing nationwide.Building a suitable landside transportation system is crucial for the overall efficient operation of airports, improving passenger transportation convenience, and saving social costs.Taking Fuzhou Changle International Airport as an example, firstly, the transportation problems and challenges faced by the airport are sorted out,and combined with domestic and foreign hub airport cases, transportation development strategies are proposed.Secondly,a traffic demand analysis is conducted based on the scale of passenger flow. Finally, solutions are proposed from the planning of the collection and distribution system, layout of transportation facilities, creation of transportation environment, and transportation supply strategies. It is hoped to provide some reference for the landside transportation planning of similar hub airports in China.
