Shanghai Suburban Railway Network Level Interconnection Planning in the Context of Multi-network Integration
As a large volume fast rail transit serving the city and the metropolitan area,which are unified with national railways and intercity systems in urban areas,suburban railways have the inherent advantages of interconnectivity.In the context of multi network integration,it is necessary to strengthen planning and research on network level interconnectivity.Firstly,the connotation,functional positioning,and classification forms of interconnectivity are focused on,and the main characteristics of interconnectivity are summarized based on typical cases studies.Secondly,from the perspective of urban spatial structure,node network function,etc.,combined with passenger flow demand,implementation conditions,etc.,the classification principles and methods for interconnectivity are proposed.Finally,based on the Shanghai suburban railway network,a planning oriented network level interconnection node classification is proposed.This classification takes into consideration of factors such as passenger demand,transportation organization,and implementation conditions of each node.It provides a practical classification of interconnected nodes at the network level,supported by specific case studies.
