Passenger Volume Characteristics of Shanghai Rail Transit in the Past 30 Years
Shanghai's rail transit was first built in the 1990s.After 30 years of construction and development,it has now formed a super large network of about 800 kilometers, with the subway operating length ranking first in the world. Before the epidemic, the rail transit network ridership flow exceeded 10 million daily boardings, and its position in urban transportation is becoming increasingly prominent. In order to better reflect the relationship between rail transit and urban development, and to provide inspiration and reference for the optimization and deepening research of the rail transit network, firstly,by reflecting the changes in passenger volume characteristics of Shanghai's rail transit over the past 30 years, the interrelationship between different stages of rail transit network and urban pattern evolution is reflected. Then, the passenger volume characteristics of different types of rail transit lines in the current situation are analyzed, and some problems in the current network are summarized, and suggestions are proposed for improving passenger volume efficiency in the future.
