Safety Impact of New Tunnel Construction on Existing Bridges
In order to evaluate the safety performance of existing bridge structures during the construction process of new tunnels,a three-dimensional solid simulation model was established using finite element software based on the geological structure method. The deformation laws of surrounding rock and existing bridge pile foundations during the construction process of new tunnels were analyzed.Research has shown that the horizontal and vertical displacement of existing bridge pile foundations gradually increase with the progress of tunnel construction steps, and the completion of channel excavation is the most unfavorable working condition. The displacement of pile foundations along the bridge direction fluctuates up and down with the progress of tunnel construction steps.During the construction process,it is still necessary to pay more attention to the deformation and stress of the structure between each process.During the tunnel construction process, the maximum horizontal and vertical displacement of the surrounding rock and existing bridge pile foundation are both lower than the control indicators. The research results can serve as a reference for safety assessment of such projects.
