Underground Station Type of Common Line Operation Between High Speed Railway and Intercity Railway in Metropolitan Area
The operation and management mode of high-speed railway trunk line is different from that of metropolitan intercity railway. The former is operated by the group companies of National Railway Administration, while the latter is generally operated independently by local intercity railway companies. The node stations at the intersection of high-speed railway and intercity railway generally adopt the ground or elevated laying mode with separate lines and fields, and there are few studies on the station type of underground stations where both of them are operated on the same lines. The paper conducts a case study on Suzhou East Underground station, which is an intersection of several intercity railways and one high-speed railway in Suzhou railway hub,by integrating the analysis of passenger demand, and putting forward the general research idea of this kind of station type scheme from the aspects of station scale, overall layout and station type layout.Combined with the operation management mode and transportation organization scheme,it researches the two series of four schemes of the national railways and the intercity railways in separate-field and combined-field arrangements, comparing and selecting comprehensively from the aspects of transportation organization, construction conditions and project investment. The results of the study can provide reference significance for the subsequent underground station projects of similar high-speed railways and intercity railways operating on the same line.
